The law firm relocates to Schwibbogenplatz. At this time the building is state-of-the-art, partly due to network technology. The firm becomes active in the fields of automation technology and robotics. New clients are acquired from the textile industry and vehicle construction sector.

The second-generation family business starts with the arrival of patent attorney Klaus Ernicke. He expands the firm’s know-how to include control and process engineering.

The firm becomes more global and builds networks in China and USA. Building automation and elevator technology expand the firm’s portfolio.

The third generation begins: Moritz Ernicke, with his masters in engineering and then patent attorney as of 2012, establishes new international mandates in the automotive industry and serves the fields of Computer Vision, Human Machine Interface and Power-Train.
